About
The Florham Park Policemen’s Benevolent Association (P.B.A.) serves as the local bargaining unit for the dedicated Officers of the Florham Park Police Department. In addition to our ongoing efforts to ensure optimal working conditions for our members, we remain steadfast in our commitment to giving back to the community of Florham Park. Supported generously by the residents and businesses within our town, we express our gratitude by extending financial assistance to numerous charities, groups, and individuals. Our outreach efforts include hosting events that engage and enrich the entire community.
This page is dedicated to our members and the community we proudly serve. Here, we showcase the many activities we organize and participate in. Questions, comments, praise, donuts? Please feel free to contact us!
Faith Carney
PBA Local 78 President
Bio
I began my career with the Florham Park Police Department in 2019 and served in the patrol division until 2023. In January of 2023, I was transferred into the Support Services Division where I currently serve as one of our School Resource Officers. During my tenure with the Florham Park Police Department, I have served on the Executive Board as Treasurer from 2023-2026 and as President from January 2026 to present.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from West Virginia University. In my free time, I enjoy fly fishing, pheasant hunting, hiking, gardening, reading, and spending time with my husband, James, and our dog, River. I greatly value the sense of community here in Florham Park and I work hard to serve this town in varying capacities to ensure trust, safety, and overall quality of life for our residents. I’m grateful for all who make up the Borough and for your continuous support of our department and our PBA.
Message from the President:
“The Florham Park PBA Local 78 mission is to build and strengthen our relationship with all facets within the community to which we protect and serve. Our motto is "Strength in Community", and we continually strive to protect life and property, reduce crime, and improve the overall quality of life in Florham Park.
Our leadership and members are committed to strengthening our community through various fundraisers, charity and community service. We believe reinvesting money raised by our local back into our community helps us achieve our mission. This is all made possible by you, the people we serve. Thank you for the continued support of your town’s officers and PBA.”
